Eye Exercises For Better Vision

I am a massive subscriber to the holistic is better school of thought and have been training my eyes naturally for the past few years to counter my frequent eye strain, lazy eye and blurred vision. I can honestly say that it is very possible to use eye exercises for better vision.

I chose to naturally improve my eyes because I didn’t fancy playing Russian Roulette with my eyes by getting onto the laser operating table and I hated the idea of my eyesight degenerating over time like they would if I went down the glasses/contact lenses route. I’ve managed to keep my eyes healthy with clear and sharp vision from just a total of on average half an hour of eye exercises per week (spread out across the days). Here is one of the exercises that I use:

The Word Exercise

Find a word on this page that is at least five letters long and focus in so that you can see the entire word without moving your eyes. Really try and focus on the entire word - get the absolute best image you can.

What you’ll notice is that the harder you concentrate the less clearly you will see it and the more blurry it will become. You may even notice that your eyes will stat to strain.

Now, this time, let your eyes relax and glide over and around the word slowly. Blink a couple of times and then start to pay attention to the spaces between and around the letters - just let your eyes naturally lead you.

Now look at the word again and you’ll see that it’s much clearer. The reason for this is that your eyes work best when moving around - they really don’t like staring at one spot for an extended period of time.

Do this exercise daily and before long you’ll start to look at things in a different way!

To really kickstart your natural vision correction you can also include some form of supplementation such as taurine, bilberry and lutein. These supplements are widely regarded as being the best supplements that you can take to help promote the improvement and restoration of your eyes. Scientists say that lutein is incredibly good for macular degeneration because it encourages the reparation and generation of new cells. Bilberry is the best substance for blood circulation which is obviously very important. The only other thing you may want to consider supplementing with is antioxidants. Antioxidants prevent internal rust that can be caused by free radicals in the eye.

In summary you should do exercises such as the word exercise for 4 – 5 minutes on a daily basis and supplement with said products for around 3-4 weeks. This is ample time to determine whether the regime is going to work for you.
