Baby Teeth

Baby teeth are as important as the other organ of the baby. It helps in many important activities of your baby’s development. It helps in proper digestion of your baby and also helps baby to speak in proper manner. It is parent’s responsibility to keep them healthy and cavity free, hence it is bit problematic for parents when the teeth appear for first time.

Average time for appearances of first teeth of baby is between 5 to 7 months of age. But time may vary from 1 month to 1 and ½ year. Normally lower teeth come before upper teeth. But sometime the condition may reverse. Some time due to lack of nutrition, your baby may face some difficulties regarding their teeth. Sometime juices and milk may cause problem for teeth decay for your baby.

Hence whenever you give milk or juice to your baby, wash your baby’s mouth properly with water. Select the proper toothbrush for your baby’s delicate teeth. The toothbrush should be round, small and soft, which provides proper care of your baby’s teeth. Hard and big toothbrush may cause gum injury and tooth decay, which may cause trouble in future.

Sometime the decay of child’s teeth is due to your child’s walking or playing. So, you should visit the dentist within the 6-month of the teeth eruption. Healthy teeth help to improve self-confidence of your baby. So try to keep it clean and shiny. Proper teeth are also important for proper feeding and proper nutrition.

So don’t ignore your baby’s childhood teeth or milk teeth, because it is the base of your baby’s life. If the cavity is present in your baby’s teeth then it is not good for gums and will create problem for permanent teeth. Your baby’s teeth are the precious things for your baby as well as for you, so its proper care will change your baby’s life and attitude.
